NOAA Hollings Scholarships

NOAA Hollings Scholarships are intended to increase undergraduate training in oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, and education. Over 100 awards are made per year, with each award including an up to $9,500/yr stipend for two years and a ten-week, full-time paid summer research experience between the first and second years of the program. AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is available to high school seniors who plan to enter their first year of atmospheric science undergraduate studies in the fall. This scholarship is available to juniors who plan to enter their final year of atmospheric science undergraduate studies in the fall. Approximately fifteen awards are made per year, with the stipend amount varying between awards. Applications are typically due in February.

The National Weather Association offers scholarships to undergraduate students at varying stages of their studies within the atmospheric sciences.
